Our Legacy of Service

With a career spanning over a decade, Juliana Díaz has been dedicated to serving her community as a practiced attorney since 2008.

Beginning her legal journey at Legal Services of New Jersey in Newark, NJ, Juliana focused on representing low-income tenants, tirelessly advocating for their landlord/tenant rights. Witnessing the pressing needs of under-represented communities, she recognized the importance of providing accessible legal assistance. In June 2009, she established her practice in Elizabeth, NJ, a vibrant hub of Latino and Colombian culture. Juliana’s practice has centered on serving the Spanish-speaking community, specializing in immigration, real estate, and family law.

Amid the real estate market collapse, Juliana’s office assisted many individuals through negotiations for short sales, offering alternatives to foreclosure for countless members of the Spanish-speaking community.

Juliana earned her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Communications from The George Washington University and her law degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She played an integral part in establishing the Children’s SSI Project, a joint pro bono venture with Legal Services of NJ.

In 2018, Juliana worked for the Consulate General of Colombia in Newark as their legal counsel. In this role, she was a vital link between the Federal prison system and Colombian inmates, ensuring they received legal assistance. Additionally, she supported the Colombian community in areas such as shelter, healthcare, and outreach initiatives.

Juliana is a member of the Union County Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the Hispanic Bar Association.
